Upload Create

Step 0: preparation #

Start two Terminal sessions as two jobs need to be done in parallel. Commit and push all changes.

Step 1: create TAR file #

Generate a tar files with the source code:

Utilities/Release_As_Tar.command wikibook

This will stop on requesting a download link.

Step 2: upload TAR file #

When the “Enter URL>” prompt is shown upload the tar files from the 2nd Terminal session.

Utilities/Release_Sourceforge.command wikibook

This will stop on a prompt asking for the toml-file. SourceForge will check the file for malicious content. When ready return to the main Terminal and copy paste the URL.

Step 3: Create crate #

Once the URL is created copy paste the path (without the /download at the end) into the first Terminal session. This will generate the tom-file.

Step 4: Upload #

There are two options open

With PAT #

If you have a fork of alire-index and a personal access token for GIT you can just say yes then asked to create pull request and copy paste your token.

Without PAT #

Utilities/Release-Alire-Index.command wikibook 1.1.0
